Starting a new business? Or maybe you want to promote a new idea? Maybe you just want to share some cool content on YouTube or social media. Either way, 2D character animation is a great way to accomplish this. Animation styles in 2 dimensions tend to stand out more in today’s day in age. In a world where technology is continually enhancing 3D animation, it pays to be different and go the route. 2D animation is neat, it’s clean, and easier on the eyes than other video promotion methods. Not only are 2D animations aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but they are also easier to create and tend to be more cost-effective. Scroll down below to see a few examples we hope will inspire your next 2D animation project.
Uber – Business Travel
An eye-catching example from The Furrow. A well-done and clean animation along with smooth transitions between scenes makes this video very attractive. Sometimes a simple but successful visual solution will look much better than an exaggerated animation.
Thumbtack “The Future”
Another example of an awesome video without the overloaded animation. Everything looks clean and neat. Although the video seems relatively easy, a lot of work has been done professionally here (a lot of nice-animated characters, complex morphing of elements, a dozen of animated small details, etc).
Trumaker — Explainer video
Our explainer video for Trumaker – a San Francisco-based men’s clothing brand specializing in custom-made shirts. We used a minimal style of animation together with careful
3D integration (for example, a transition from the card to the house, a closing box with the shirts, and the transition from the drawers to our protagonist). We used a rough texture to add the final accent to the illustrations, which, in our opinion, looks trendy and fun.
L.L.Bean – Find your park
A sweet work from the LEGWORK guys. The color mix is perfect. The video creates a feeling of coziness due to the lively texture and well-animated characters. And what is even more important that is the main goal of the video
is accomplished – to make more people go outdoors.
Briza / Explainer video
Breeze is an insurance infrastructure that helps brokers connect with underwriters. Thus, they can deliver quotes, bundle policies and collect payments from business clients in real-time.
This video 100% explains the whole chain of processes that are important for both current customers and future ones. Juicy and dynamic animation.
PrescribeWellness – Convenience
Another nice and high-quality video from The Furrow whom we’ve already mentioned. Great and smooth animation with cool transitions and lively textures makes this video quite exciting.
And above alll, the video raises an important topic about informing the customers of the services available at the local pharmacy.
PILOTWORKS — explainer video
Another example of our video for the Pilotworks service. Pilotworks offers turnkey 24/7 kitchens with standard and specialized facilities of best-in-class equipment.
It was important for us to show the whole process in this video, from the problems that newcomers could face in the kitchen business to finding the ultimate solution for them. We created a unique style in corporate colors for the video. We tried to make such an animation that will not let the viewer get bored while watching, too.
Thanks to our lead animator Dmitry Semkiv for the preparation of the list of these videos.
We’re here to help you create a stunning explainer for your business needs.
